Spring Break

Atomic Tour Bus.  Look for it in Your Town, USA.

Hello, Drawers Fans, we hope your Monday’s going well.   I write you from the deck of my sailing ship, The Atomic Oars, currently in the Mediterranean off the southern coast of France.

We’ve decided to take a much-needed few days off after our extensive eight- or nine-week tour of the southern and eastern portions of Washington Park, namely Lincoln’s and Wash Park Grille, as well as the British Bulldog downtown, and retire to our respective villas outside Marseilles for a little rest and relaxation.

We’ve seen a dozen faces, and we’ve rocked them all.

We need to get our mad skillz on track, work on a few more originals, and prepare to record.  Butch Vig and Don Gehman are busy on other projects, but the incomparable Adam Kilgus of Breaking & Entering has agreed to give us a listen and see what he can do to A) make our sound more “sonically pleasing,” and B) possibly record us.  And with that, another important piece of the World Domination Puzzle comes together.

For those of you interested to know how last Friday’s practice went (see previous post), Billy did have too much fun at his company picnic and I don’t remember much from practice.  I know that we kicked out a mean Pink Houses.

We also wrote a song about the homeless which may, or may not, raise social awareness.

Have a great week, folks.  We’ll be back on the trail next week, unless an actual gig falls from the sky THIS week.

Hi, I’m a groupie and wondering when you are playing again. You need your music schedule on your blog.

You guys look hot in that picture with the cigarettes.
